We would like to re-start the Homework Club at Powerhouse Library from September 2026.
The club will take place on Mondays 4:30-6:30 and Tuesdays 4:30-6:30. 

Minimum commitment of three months required. You will be expected to stay for the whole session, or as long as there are children who need help.

What you will get out of volunteering with us:

• You will gain experience of teaching and educating.
• You will gain experience working with young people and children in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis.
• The skills you gain are valuable and can be added to CVs or applications.
• You will be part of something worthwhile and hopefully have some fun!

Who we are looking for:

• Someone who likes working with children and young people would benefit from this opportunity.
• An outgoing, confident personality would be great.
• Some knowledge of the school system would be ideal.

• You need to be able to communicate well with children and be able to find information needed, either online, or in books.
   
  You will receive a full induction.
