Who we are:
Thyme for Everyone is a resident-led community group in Burnage, supported by Southway Housing Trust. We provide a warm and inclusive space for local people to come together, enjoy creative activities, and build connections. Our weekly arts and crafts sessions at Dahlia House Café offer conversation, refreshments, and companionship for older people in the community.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers who enjoy arts and crafts and spending time with others. You don’t need to be an expert—just willing to join in, encourage others, and help keep the sessions running smoothly. Volunteers should be welcoming, practical, and supportive of creating a positive atmosphere.

What would you be doing as a volunteer?

• Welcoming participants and helping them feel at home

• Assisting with setting up and tidying away

• Supporting with planning and delivering arts and crafts activities

• Joining in and encouraging others to take part

• Helping foster a friendly, inclusive atmosphere

• Working alongside the group organiser and existing volunteers

Times for the opportunity:

• Most Mondays, 10:30–12:30 (sessions may not run when the organiser has meetings/training)

• Regular weekly commitment preferred
