As part of the EY’s project, we are currently looking for someone to support the weekly story times at Gorton library.  The session is very popular, and they are looking for someone who could go along and help with welcoming families, directing them to the storytelling area and generally assisting the outreach worker to deliver the session.  They are ideally looking for someone who could attend weekly, the session is 10.30am-11.30am.  As part of our Early Years project in Gorton & Abbey Hey an opportunity has come up to for a literacy champion to support the delivery of one of our Early Years Speech and Language parent/carer courses in September.   It will take place at Sacred Heart Family Hub, dates/times tbc but would need a commitment of an hour a week starting in September, with a day’s training in August.  As part of the offer, you will receive ongoing training tailored to the project, from our Early Years team.
