Together Trust is a local charity that supports children, young people, and families through care, education, and community services. We believe in the power of safe, supportive environments to help people thrive. Our outdoor spaces are important for wellbeing, learning, and play—and we want to make them even more vibrant and inviting.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer with gardening knowledge and enthusiasm who can help us make the most of our outdoor spaces. You should be comfortable with the physical aspects of gardening, confident around children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health support needs, and bring patience, friendliness, and creativity to the role.

What would you be doing as a volunteer?

Planting and maintaining year-round flowerbeds, pots, and boxes

Keeping planted areas free of weeds

Growing herbs, fruit, and vegetables for young people to enjoy

Suggesting and developing ideas for how to make the most of the space

Contributing to a welcoming, sensory, and stimulating environment

Times for the opportunity:

Flexible—seasonal and ongoing gardening work throughout the year

Hours and days to be agreed with Volunteer Service Manager. We have several locations in the Stockport/Greater Manchester area that require garden maintenance.
