Who we are:
Point of Growth is a community organisation working to empower and connect people across Greater Manchester. Our new Cultural Ambassadors Project (September 2025 – May 2026) supports newcomers and migrants settling in the UK by co-creating a culturally informed guidebook, running safe conversational sessions, and building supportive peer networks.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and inclusive volunteers to help make our sessions welcoming and accessible. You don’t need formal experience—just good communication skills, empathy, and an interest in community work or cross-cultural understanding. Volunteers from all backgrounds, especially those with lived experience of migration, are warmly encouraged to apply.

Setting up and welcoming participants to sessions
-
Supporting registration, refreshments, and room organisation
-

-
Around 1–2 days per month (1–3 hours per session)

-
Project runs from September 2025 for 9 months
