Oxfam is an international charity working to end poverty and injustice around the world. Through our high street shops, online platforms, and ecommerce hubs, we turn donated, pre-loved items into vital funds that support communities globally. Our shops are welcoming community spaces where volunteers play a central role in creating positive social and environmental impact.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers aged 18 and over who enjoy working with people and want to make a difference. Whether you’re interested in customer service, fashion, sustainability, or gaining retail experience, we welcome people from all backgrounds. No previous retail experience is required—training and support are provided.

What would you be doing as a volunteer?

Supporting day-to-day shop activities

Helping create attractive displays and sort donated items

Assisting customers and providing a friendly welcome

Working as part of a team to keep the shop organised and inviting

Developing skills in retail, teamwork, and customer service

Times for the opportunity:

Flexible volunteering available

A few hours per week
