Description of the opportunity:

Hulme Community Garden Centre is a unique community-led project, established 20 years ago and underpinned by organic principles, promoting sustainability through best horticultural practice and a respect for the environment. Our mission is to bring communities together through gardening. As a not-for-profit organisation we offer home-produced plants for the local community. We are foremost a volunteer and education hub, promoting horticulture and sustainability to schools, colleges and communities.

This community-led festival, located just a stones throw from the University of Manchester campus, aims to combat the gentrification of Hulme by hosting a diverse and eclectic line-up of more than 60 live bands and DJs across five stages between the Garden Centre and the Niamos Radical Arts & Centre on Warwick Street.
