WE ARE HIDE OUT YOUTH ZONE 

HIDE OUT Youth Zone is a charity for Manchester children and young people.
We exist to give them the opportunity to discover their passion, build confidence, and find their purpose.

HIDE UT Youth Zone is a state‑of‑the‑art Youth Zone in the heart of the city, offering a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for young people aged 8 to 19 or up to 25 with a disability .

We provide access to incredible facilities and a wide range of engaging activities in a vibrant, purpose‑built environment. Young people can make friends, develop new skills, build resilience, unlock their potential, and most importantly, have fun.

OUR MISSION

Hide Out Youth Zone provides children and young people with:

• Somewhere safe to go
• Something positive to do
• Someone trusted to talk to

Every session is delivered by trained, supportive staff and volunteers who put young people’s safety, wellbeing, and development first.

SKILLS

Relevant skills in sport, music, media or catering are welcome, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important. Volunteers can develop these skills through the role, with full training and support provided.

Before starting, all volunteers will complete Level 2 Safeguarding Working with Children training and will learn what it means to work safely, professionally and positively with young people in a youth work setting.
