We are looking for someone to support our community project with social media and online engagement. The role involves helping us share updates about our garden activities, food projects, workshops, and community events.

 

Responsibilities include posting 1–2 updates per week, writing captions, uploading photos or short videos, and helping promote upcoming sessions and activities. You may also support basic engagement by responding to comments or messages when needed.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, creative, and confident using social media platforms. An interest in community work, food growing, wellbeing, or environmental projects would be welcomed.

 

Main tasks include:

  • Creating and posting content on Facebook and Instagram
  • Posting 1–2 updates per week
  • Uploading photos and short videos from activities
  • Writing simple captions and event information
  • Helping promote workshops, volunteering opportunities, and community events
  • Responding to basic comments or messages when needed
  • Supporting positive community engagement online

 

Skills needed:

  • Good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Facebook and Instagram
  • Friendly, reliable, and organised
  • An interest in community work, wellbeing, food growing, or environmental projects is welcome

 

Hours: Flexible, approximately 2–4 hours per week.
