Volunteer Wanted: Digital Communications & Outreach Assistant

Location: Manchester (Flexible / Hybrid options available)

About the Role

Are you creative, organized, and passionate about community wellbeing? Manchester Men's Health C.I.C. uses creative and educational projects to break down barriers, reduce isolation, and open up vital conversations around mental health and identity for men and young men.

We are looking for a proactive Digital Communications & Outreach Volunteer to help us boost our online presence, promote our upcoming community events, and network with local groups and partners.

What You Will Do

• Website & Social Media: Help update our website content and manage our social media channels by creating and scheduling engaging posts.
• Event Promotion: Design and share promotional material for workshops, creative sessions, and community gatherings.
• Networking & Outreach: Connect with local organizations, health initiatives, and community champions across Greater Manchester to grow our support network.
• Campaign Ideas: Share your ideas on how we can better reach men who might be isolated or in need of support.

What We Are Looking For

• Interest in mental health, community work, and men’s wellbeing.
• Basic experience or familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, or LinkedIn).
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Organized and able to work independently with guidance from our core team.
