Together Media is Learn Together CIC’s community media project, producing accessible content about current affairs, social issues, education and local communities.

We are looking for Volunteer Content Creators to support different parts of the production process. Depending on your interests, you may help with:

• Researching topics and checking information
• Developing ideas, scripts and interview questions
• Presenting short news videos and explainers
• Taking part in podcasts and recorded discussions
• Interviewing guests and members of the community
• Filming content and gathering supporting footage

You will not be expected to do everything. We will match tasks to your interests, availability and confidence, with training, guidance and feedback provided throughout.

No previous media experience is required. The opportunity is open to anyone with an interest in current affairs, storytelling, digital media or production. It is particularly suitable for film, media and communications students who want practical experience, published work and material for a professional portfolio.

The role is flexible and hybrid, with remote work and in-person activity in Manchester.
