CHARM PROJECTS CIC was established in 2022 and is committed to Compassionate, Holistic, Accessible and Rights based Mental health.  Our priority is to amplify the voices of experts by experience and bring international best practice to Manchester through education, research and community engagement.  In Manchester we have supported knowledge and development of the Hearing Voices approach; knowledge and interest in Peer Supported Open Dialogue; knowledge and group development on Gaining Autonomy in Medications and Food and Mind.

We are seeking to appoint two volunteer Directors for CHARM PROJECTS CIC and are looking for individuals with skills in governance, finance and/or fundraising who have a deep commitment to compassionate rights based approaches to supporting deep mental health distress.  We currently have three Directors.

We are looking for people with:

• Experience in running or developing voluntary sector organisations.
• Experience in strategic development and governance requirements for a voluntary/statutory sector organisation.
• Knowledge of fundraising, accounting or budget management.
• Experience in project and volunteer management.
• Experience/knowledge of/interest in learning about compassionate and social justice based approaches to supporting deep mental distress.
