Volunteering will take place at our warehouse in Eccles, where food is received, sorted, and prepared for distribution. There will be a variety of tasks available, including stock sorting, bag packing, labeling, stock reconciliation, and vehicle loading. A typical day runs from 9:30-3pm and is available Monday to Friday. Please email corporatevolunteering@breadandbutterthing.org to confirm availability. 

Any manual handling, heavy lifting, or food handling requirements will be fully covered during the site induction. If you have an injury, health concern, or would simply prefer not to undertake these activities, please let us know. We are always happy to allocate alternative lighter duties so that everyone can contribute in a way that feels comfortable and suitable for them.

Please wear comfortable, practical clothing that can be layered, as warehouse temperatures can vary. Steel-toe safety boots will be provided, so we recommend wearing suitable socks. Feel free to bring any snacks or refreshments you may like during the day.
