Responsibilities:

• Drop off a mix of pre-packed wholesale and donated food in advance of the foodbank session. This may include loading the van at the warehouse base prior to delivery.
• Where food cannot be stored at a foodbank site following a session until the next week, picking the remaining food up, returning to and unloading at the warehouse base.
• Prior to unloading food at a session, making sure that the foodbank session space is adequately set up in order to receive the delivery.
• Ensure that health and safety and proper van loading is maintained when loading and unloading a van, including total weight, weight distribution and stability of load.

About you:

• A full UK driving licence
• Comfortable regularly driving the 3.5 tonne foodbank van (training provided)
• Comfortable lifting weights of up to 25kg, in line with manual handling guidelines
