Night stop run by the youth homelessness charity Depaul UK, is looking for passionate individuals to join their vital network. Night stop provides same-night emergency accommodation for young people aged 16–25 in crisis, matching them with vetted volunteer hosts who provide a spare room, a hot meal, and a listening ear.

Trained and vetted hosts in the community provide a safe place to stay, washing facilities, a meal and a friendly listening ear. It is a night-by-night, same day emergency service. While the young person stays with a host, Night stop Greater Manchester will support them to find a longer-term solution. 

Night stop will match the young person with a volunteer host for the night and help them get to their home. The young person will have access to a 24/7 support line during their stay. They leave the host’s home at an agreed time in the morning with breakfast and a packed lunch. Night stop will work with the young person to find a longer-term solution and suggest other options if the service isn’t the right fit for them.
