Suicide Prevention Fund 2021 to 2022

gov.ukThe Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has made available £4 million for a grant fund to support suicide prevention voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across 2021 to 2022. A portion of the grant fund will be ring-fenced specifically to help support small community-led and user-led groups and organisations.

The Warm Welcome Toolkit has been created by Ageing Better in Camden after gathering ideas, resources and tips from older people that have been working with and delivery partners who have been running activities for the past seven years.

Accounting software a legal requirement for all CICs registered for VAT from April 2022

informationSince 1 April 2019, VAT-registered businesses in the UK above the registration threshold (currently £85,000) need to submit their VAT returns using “functional compatible software” and store their VAT accounting records digitally.

This is part of HMRC’s ongoing Making Tax Digital (MTD) plans.

But as of 1 April 2022, all VAT-registered businesses will be required to use MTD for their VAT accounting.

Grant Applications Open for Weston Charity Awards 2022

weston charity awardsApplications for the Weston Charity Awards 2022 are officially open thanks to a partnership between The Garfield Weston Foundation and its charity partner, Pilotlight.

Now in its eighth year, the awards offer a package of support worth over £22,000 to small charities in the North of England, Midlands, and Wales.
