This free one-day conference, held in Manchester, will delve into the crucial themes of economic justice and empowerment, specifically focusing on groundbreaking ideas and solutions for achieving financial independence. It will explore innovative approaches to working, organising, delivering services, and supporting women and girls in ways that truly meet their needs.
This conference also offers a chance to develop leadership abilities within a collaborative setting. Given the current cost-of-living crisis, which is hitting women particularly hard and with limited government intervention, this conference stands as the prime opportunity for the sector to come together and collectively explore innovative solutions to this urgent challenge.
What can you expect:
The conference will begin with an expert panel addressing the pursuit of economic justice for women in a hostile environment, followed by structured workshops in the morning and afternoon. Furthermore, we will present the Audre Lorde Prize for leadership in the sector, culminating the day with a drinks reception in the evening.
