7 Oct 2020 - 15:37 by michelle.foster

Grants of up to £10,000 are available for BAME-led community and voluntary groups to help them support their communities during and beyond the COVID-19 crisis. The Fund will support a range of wellbeing, resilience and capacity building projects. Organisations that are not constituted, do not have a bank account, or are a new organisation can still apply for funding via a host organisation.

Three types of funding are available:

  • Option 1: Grants of up to £5,000 for organisations with an annual income of less than £50,000 who are already providing critical support to people at a community level
  • Option 2: Grants of up to £10,000 for organisations with an annual income of between £50,000 and £150,000 who are looking at developing projects about ways to work with their community to rebuild and reimagine the future
  • Option 3: Micro grants of between £500 and £1,000 for capacity building purposes such as staff development, trustee training, charity registration, developing a constitution or increasing connectivity
