The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre and Education Trust is moving

6 Feb 2014 - 09:21 by michelle.foster

The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre and Education Trust will be moving from the Sackville Building of the University of Manchester to the new Manchester Central Library.

This will increase their visibility to the public as well as making their library more accessible. You will be able to borrow materials using your Manchester library cards, while the location off St Peter’s Square and the longer opening hours will make it easier for you to visit them. There is a wealth of local studies resources, children’s books and much more available in the Central Library, which re-opens on 22 March.

The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Centre aims to continue providing our book-making projects and specialist collection of books on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic history and heroes.

The centre has also re-launched their website: www.racearchive.org.uk with a section for sharing resources and ideas for multicultural and antiracist education.

To add your name to their contact list to receive regular ebulletins email your details to: [email protected]
