Community Green Leaders Course

Do you want to strengthen your organisation’s environmental and social impact?

Sow the City is hosting a unique development programme for 20 community green leaders in the VCSE sector – delivered at Manchester Museum.

This is a free, five-day programme (spread over three months) designed for 20 community green leaders in the VCSE sector. It brings together leadership development, practical skills training, peer learning, and opportunities to connect with key experts and partners across the city.

The course will cover:

  • Securing long-term, sustainable funding
  • Evidencing and reporting environmental and social impact
  • Strengthening your organisation’s planning, partnerships and long-term vision
  • Marketing and communications to raise your profile

You’ll also hear from guest speakers and visit inspiring projects across Manchester.

Course dates: 

  • 20th May
  • 9-10th June
  • 15-16th September 

The course is based at Manchester Museum, and participants need to be able to attend all five days. Places are limited to one person per organisation. If you’d like to be considered for a place, email: hafsa@sowthecity.org for an application form which needs to be completed by 28th April.
