Covid Impact Fund for Mental Health and Wellbeing launches 6 Jan 2021

manchester city councilManchester City Council is launching a Covid-19 Impact Fund on 6 January 2021. £300,000 will be available for voluntary sector activity to support mental health and wellbeing and reduce social isolation in Manchester.

Manchester City Council are particularly interested in support for the following groups:
BAME communities
Disabled people
LGBTQ+ communities
North Manchester residents
Older People

The fund will also consider applications to support other groups. Applicants will be required to evidence their reasons for the people they will work with, demonstrating strong connections to people at high risk of multiple negative impacts from Covid-19. This could include evidence around health, social and economic issues, and delivering activity targeted at young people or adults, in a particular geographical area or community of identity.

Grants available:
up to £10,000 for organisations applying on their own
up to £30,000 for organisations applying in partnership
