The Effective Women’s Centres Partnership – funding for organisations supporting women in contact with the Criminal Justice System

The JABBS Foundation for Women and Girls has shared an update on the Effective Women's Centres Partnership, already running in Stockport, Salford and Oldham with funding now available to expand.

The update provides details about funding and support for more organisations to adopt the WRNA (Women's Risk Needs Assessment) and associated Themis Case Management System (CMS) in their work supporting women at risk of offending or already in contact with the Criminal Justice System. These systems are designed to increase capability to assess needs and demonstrate impact across a wide range of wellbeing measures, with the aim of showing policymakers “what works” and supporting long-term sustainability of Women’s Centres and women’s specialist services.
