Emotional support for visually impaired people in Manchester

1 Jun 2018 - 11:23 by michelle.foster

It can be difficult to come to terms with being diagnosed with sight loss. It’s perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed, but it can help to have someone to talk to who can empathise and help you process the many emotions you can feel after your diagnosis; that's why Henshaws offers counselling in Manchester, and can even offer it over the phone. Henshaws Counselling

Henshaws counselling service is an opportunity for you to talk about your problems or anything that is upsetting you in a safe, confidential environment. Henshaws offers sessions at a time that suits you, in Wythenshawe, Harpurhey, Salford, Trafford and at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. Henshaws can also offer telephone sessions to ensure that everyone can access counselling, wherever they live.

“I've made more progress from talking things through than I have from years of taking anti-depressants.”

Get in touch at [email protected] or ring 0300 222 5555 to find out more and to access this free service. A member of the team will take some details from you and refer you to our counsellor, who will contact you direct to make an appointment.

Counselling is part of the Pathway to Wellbeing project, which is generously funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
