Express your interest to join a VCSE-led cross-sector working group under City-Wide Reform Programme with Manchester City Council, Macc and partners

We invite VCSE representatives to express their interest in helping shape the future of Manchester’s public service reform by joining a new, VCSE-led cross-sector working group. This innovative space aims to foster genuine collaboration, ensure fair and proportionate access to funding and strengthen the sector’s voice and influence in city-wide decision-making and governance structures.

As a member, you will contribute to co-producing a refreshed Manchester Compact, develop a strategic action plan to embed it across city-wide stakeholder practices, and build sustainable relationships with public services.

Meetings will be held every six weeks, in a flexible hybrid format, starting from mid to late August. The deadline for expressions of interest 12th September. Applications will be reviewed by a panel comprising Manchester City Council and Macc representatives, and successful applicants will be notified thereafter.

Recognition will be provided for your valuable insights and contributions in line with Macc VCSE Participation Protocol.

This is a unique opportunity to influence how the VCSE sector is engaged and supported across Manchester. If you’re committed to creating positive change and working collaboratively for a stronger, more inclusive city, we want to hear from you!
