The VCSE Mental Health Leadership Group is pleased to announce that, due to investment from the Health and Social Care Partnership, they will be launching a unique set of projects designed to ensure that Greater Manchester mental health VCSE can meet this current (and subsequent) surge in demand as a result of Covid-19.
In order to build a Greater Manchester wide network of family-centred support that operates within all ten localities, this exercise is being undertaken to map services that seek to improve mental health of families in the City-region.
This is part of work to meet the surge in demand for such services due to Covid-19 and it is hoped that it will lead to better co-ordination, connection and enhancement of existing provision.
The mapping exercise’s aims include:
- Support future collaborative and partnership working
- Develop an information resource that will facilitate effective brokering and referral pathways
- Provide a gap analysis in order that inequalities in provision can be addressed
- Identify good practice for sharing
