This funding has been designed to be flexible, enabling ward members in conjunction with Neighbourhood Managers to support food organisations in their ward. The funding can be used to purchase food stock, purchase equipment such as shelving and storage.

The process will run in a similar way to NIF Grants with a basic application process and approval at ward level.

Organisations providing food support in communities within Manchester City Council boundaries can apply.
