Manchester City Council is offering a new package of support that aims to support residents through the cost of living crisis. £3,000 per ward is being made available to support food organisations. 
This is in addition to the £20k per ward Neighbourhood Investment Fund (NIF) allocation. This funding has been designed to be flexible, enabling ward members in conjunction with Neighbourhood Managers to support food organisations in their ward. The funding can be used to purchase food stock, purchase equipment such as shelving and storage.
The process will run in a similar way to NIF Grants with a basic application process and approval at ward level.
Organisations providing food support in communities within Manchester City Council boundaries can apply.
