Girls Friendly Society (GFS) Rusholme launchGFS Rusholme is a new group for girls that aims to help them grow in confidence, resilience and wellbeing, all by having fun and making friends.
The group will meet every Thursday at the Birch Community Centre and build a community where girls can be inspired, try new things and feel proud of who they are.
Join the group for these fun activities:
- Chase your dreams by building your very own dream catcher
- Celebrate who you are by designing your own GFS crest
- Have fun and get to know each other while getting glitter tattoos
- Test your patience and nerve with the Don’t Buzz the Wire game
Who can attend?
Any girls aged 7-11
How much does it cost?
GFS is a not-for-profit group, so sessions are only £2 a week, and you only pay for the sessions you attend. GFS also operate a fee waiver for anyone who finds the fee a barrier to joining.
