GM Poverty Action Newsletter: Re-thinking Poverty Review and Report; Allotment growers; Wood Street; Booth Centre; Universal Credit, GM Living Wage

In Greater Manchester Poverty Action’s (GMPA) newsletter they have included the personal reflections on their Re-thinking Poverty event by GMPA’s Tom Skinner as well as a report on the proceedings. A local keen allotment grower shares her thoughts on donating excess fresh produce to charities that help the homeless and those in food poverty. GMPA introduce a new charity called Sponsorstars and provide details about Wood Street Missions Christmas appeal for children’s presents. There is also some information about the ever-present issue of Universal Credit, there is the regular GM Living Wage Campaign column and an invitation from the Booth Centre to join in their festive celebrations.
