Inclusive Resilience Pathways

Inclusive Resilience Pathways was developed to support more inclusive approaches to emergency preparedness, response and recovery. It brought together VCFSE organisations working alongside marginalised communities and resilience practitioners responsible for emergency planning, response and recovery, to better understand how emergencies affect different communities and identify practical ways to strengthen inclusive resilience practice.

The project explored how both groups experience the resilience system differently, where their experiences overlap, and how stronger relationships and pathways between them could be developed. Two practical resources were developed through the project that are useful and realistic for people working in often pressured environments with limited time and capacity.
