Manchester City Council want to create a community forum made up of people who reflect the diversity of Manchester’s population, and want to find new faces and new voices to join conversations, share opinions and influence decisions that affect you, your family, your friends and your community.

About Making Manchester Fairer (MMF)
MMF is Manchester City Council’s plan to tackle health inequalities in our city that mean some people have fewer opportunities than others and even die earlier.
About the Community Forum
Manchester City Council are seeking 16 passionate people who reflect Manchester’s diverse communities to join the Community Forum. As a member, you’ll work closely with the MMF Programme Board, reviewing plans and ensuring they reflect the needs of Manchester residents.
Responsibilities
- Attend monthly in-person Community Forum meetings
- Provide feedback based on your personal knowledge and experience
Reward and recognition
- £12 per hour participation fee
- Option to donate participation fee to a local organisation
- Reimbursement of travel, childcare, and other reasonable expenses
- Additional support for accessibility needs
- Personal and professional development opportunities
