Young Manchester are delighted to partner with Manchester Community Safety Partnership to launch the Keeping Children and Young People Safe in Manchester grants. Grants of up to £25,000 are available for organisations in the VCSE sector who want to explore and evidence approaches to tackling violence which impacts on children and young people.
Pot 1 (grants of up to £25,000) – Projects which explore and evidence approaches to tackling violence impacting on young people
Pot 2 (one grant of £20,000) Sector coordination and administration
Young Manchester are seeking applications which explore and evidence approaches to tackling violence which impacts on young people, including the development and enhancement of current youth and play work practice
Projects must include direct delivery, but should also explicitly demonstrate:
- How your project contributes to, or could contribute to, the development of a city-wide strategy and theory of change
- How evidence from your project can inform wider learning and shape future policy and practice
- How your project builds strong partnership working at a local level, within and beyond the VCSE sector
