The LAB project is coming to Ardwick

LAB ProjectThere are still some places left on the upcoming course on Friday 13 March-Monday 30 March 2020, 10am-3.30pm (Mon-Fri) at Brunswick Parish Church, Brunswick Street, M13 9SX.

Proper Job are a theatre company based in the North of England who believe in supporting and nurturing individuals from the local community across Yorkshire and the North West. Proper Job have been doing this work for over twenty years with the LAB Project. In Manchester Proper Job work in partnership with and are funded by the Manchester Adult Education Service.    

What is the LAB Project?    
The LAB Project (LAB stands for Learn Achieve Believe) is designed for unemployed adults aged 19+. It’s a two week course combining team working, confidence building and communication skills, working towards participants delivering a drama workshop in a school during the second week. This is followed by development of individual action plans, a tailored progression route for each participant and follow up sessions.  

All learners receive up to £25 a week in travel expenses and a £50 voucher of their choice upon completion of the course.
