LEVEL 1 AWARD WORKING WITH ADULTS IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE.

This qualification develops a basic knowledge of the adult social care sector. It covers the type of job roles and services within it, the role of communication and the importance of valuing the individuals being cared for.

LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE SUPPORTING TEACHING AND LEARNING IN SCHOOLS Fast Track (20 Weeks)

This course provides an ideal qualification for those who are working or want to work as a teaching assistant in a school. Students will be working or volunteering in a school for a minimum of seven hours per week while in the course and will be required to undertake a DBS check.

LEVEL 1 AWARD WORKING WITH CHIDLREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN SCHOOLS

This course provides an ideal qualification for those who want to work as a teaching assistant in a school. Students will be working or volunteering in a school for a minimum of two hours per week while on the course and will be required to undertake a DBS check

CHILDCARE COURSES
LEVEL 1 AWARD INTRODUCTION TO EARLY YEARS SETTINGS

This qualification develops a basic knowledge of childcare in early year’s settings. It covers working with children up to the age of 5 years old. The units include subjects such as the value of play, roles and responsibilities of carers and volunteers and the importance of developing links in the local community

LEVEL1 AWARD INTRODUCTION TO HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE AND CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLES SETTINGS (Combined Care Course)

This course is designed to develop the ability to work in the Care sector. The course covers topics such as: the role of the carer at mealtimes, health and social care needs, personal care of individuals, learning experiences for children and young people, leisure activities for adults, promoting healthy eating and communication with adults and children.

Fees: Courses are free for unemployed people actively seeking work or cost from £3 per hour for those in work. There may be help for people on low income or reduced fees for others on certain benefits.
