Big Energy Saving Network (BESN) is a community outreach project targeting vulnerable energy consumers. It aims to help people with their energy bills by encouraging them to take actions, including: switching tariff/supplier, signing up for the £140 Warm Home Discount, signing up for the Priority Services Register and taking a range measures to make their homes more energy efficient.
Manchester Care and Repair’s Energy Champion is available to help those aged 60 or over who might need some help and advice with their energy bills. Advice can be delivered on a one-to-one basis but is also available to local groups across Manchester who are meeting virtually.
27% of people in the UK have never switched energy provider. By switching supplier or tariff, you could save hundreds of pounds and our Energy Champion can help guide you through the process.
If you have any questions or wish to arrange a virtual group session or one-to-one telephone appointment with Manchester Care and Repair, contact Michael Burgess on 0161 872 5500 or email: [email protected]
