Manchester is growing fast. New homes and jobs are being created. Manchester City Council want this growth to help Manchester become a zero-carbon city by 2038.
To do this, Manchester City Council are updating their Local Plan. This plan will guide how land is used in Manchester for the next 15 years.

What’s happening now?
Manchester City Council are asking for your views on the Draft Local Plan. This follows on from the Local Plan Issues Consultation stage in 2020. The Consultation Statement sets out key issues raised in comments in 2020. Manchester City Council have listened to your feedback and addressed your comments where possible in the Draft Local Plan.

Manchester City Council are holding in-person events across the city during the consultation. Details are as follows:
