Manchester Neighbourhood Mental Health Service – Gaddum Lived experience paid involvement opportunity

Gaddum is working with Manchester Neighbourhood Mental Health Service to help shape what support looks like.

If you or someone you care for has accessed Mental Health Services in Manchester in the last 2 years, then your voice matters.

Gaddum are currently gathering a collection of ethnographic stories, which will be gathered by community peer researchers. These stories will then be analysed, and emergent themes and key points will be included in a final report, which will help a lived experience oversight group and MNMHS design group to upscale and design the service offer.

This project is exclusive to the Manchester locality (18+) and will consist of a relaxed conversational style interview with one of the community researchers who will ask prompting questions around an individual's experience of accessing mental health services in Manchester within the last 2 years.

The community peer researchers will be asking questions on topics such as: What was the referral pathway like? How was the assessment process? Could you access the mental health support that you needed? What worked and what could be better?

Share your experience with one of the Community Reporters and you will be paid £15 per hour for your time.
