The Manchester Sports Awards recognise the hard work of clubs, coaches, officials and volunteers who support the development of sport highlight the achievements of the talented athletes who live in the city; and acknowledge people who work hard to make a difference through sport in our communities. 
Winners will be chosen by an independent judging panel.

This year there is a new category sponsored by the Manchester Evening News (MEN), the Peoples Champion Award. Shortlisted nominees for this category will be voted for by MEN readers.
