Mental health and wellbeing plan: discussion paper and call for evidence

The government is committed to improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes, particularly for people who experience worse outcomes than the general population.

To support the development of a cross-government mental health strategy, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has published a discussion paper to start a national conversation about mental health. This discussion paper is an online public survey and will run until 5 July 2022.

They are keen to hear from people of all backgrounds, including those with lived experience of mental ill health and health professionals.
