Are you lesbian, gay or bisexual? Do you use drugs and/or alcohol, or have you used them in the past? Have you ever accessed help, advice or support for your drug and/or alcohol use? This could include help, advice or support from a range of either formal or informal sources, such as from substance use services, as well as the internet, friends and family, your doctor, a telephone helpline, self-help books etc.
The Part of the Picture research project, delivered by The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (LGF) and the University of Central Lancashire, is exploring drug and alcohol use among LGB people.
LGF are looking for people to take part in a focus group to talk about their experiences of accessing help, advice or support for drug and/or alcohol use. It will be held on an evening in early November at The Lesbian & Gay Foundation’s Community Resource Centre in Manchester.
The focus group will be completely confidential, and to thank you for your time, participants will be given a £20 high street voucher as well as refreshments. Participants will also be able to claim for reasonable travel expenses.
For further information and to take part, visit: www.lgf.org.uk/potpor, or contact Caroline, on 0845 330 3030, or email: [email protected]
