The target group for this course is ideally individuals already considering or those who may be interested in joining the Army Regulars or Reserves, but it would also be of benefit for individuals who are looking to improve their employability skills and enhance their CV through this unique one day programme.

103 Regiment also offer a week long residential Army Reserve “Look at Life”, the courses are aimed at young people aged between 18 to 24 years old.

Initially the course is aimed at young people within the wider community who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET) offering young people an opportunity to gain “Skills for Life” and discover more about the Army Reserves and themselves, however this does not exclude anyone interested in developing themselves and not looking to join the Army Reserves.

The course will be delivered in Altcar Training Camp Liverpool L38 and transport, food, accommodation, and all activities will be provided free of charge (individuals will need stout outdoor footwear and warm clothes for outdoor activities). Transport from an individual's local area can be arranged. The next course will run from 27-31 Jan 2014.

The regiment will be hosting open days in the New Year in Liverpool on 13 January, Belle Vue Manchester on 14 January and St Helen's 15 January.

Individuals claiming working age benefits will be told by the Army to seek advice from their JCP adviser before undertaking any of the above activities.
