Scope’s Research Panel is a group of disabled people (and parents and carers of disabled children) who take part in research projects with Scope. Scope are looking for new people to sign up.
It’s a great way for disabled people to use their lived experiences and have their say, and get vouchers as a thank you for their time and effort.
Projects range from surveys, to one to one sessions, to focus groups. In the past year, Scope have done research projects on things like:
- Supermarket shopping during the pandemic
- Improvements to the benefits system and assessments
- Inclusive environments for disabled children
- Becoming disabled as an adult
The vouchers won’t affect any benefits, and can be spent online or in shops at Amazon, Tesco, Asda and more. There are no minimum time commitments, and Scope have a few projects coming up that are exclusively for disabled households in the North West. Scope co-produce lots of research projects (meaning disabled people are involved at every stage) and the vouchers go from £5 for some surveys to £50 for some focus groups.
