Southway Community Celebration and Volunteer Fair

Last year Southway Housing Trust organised their first Volunteer Fair, which was a great success with almost fifty organisations attending to promote their volunteering opportunities. This time they want to make it even bigger and celebrate everything that is being delivered by volunteers and voluntary and community sector organisations within the Southway area.

Southway Housing Trust are sponsoring the Volunteer Involving Organisation of the Year Award at this year’s Spirit of Manchester Awards and will be making this event part of the Spirit of Manchester Festival.

Southway Housing Trust are looking for people to get involved, so if you would like to have a stand, put on a display, sing a song, do a dance, recruit volunteers or new members or deliver an activity or workshop get in touch to discuss your ideas.

The Southway Community Celebration and Volunteer Fair will take place on:

Saturday 10 October 2015, 11am to 3pm at Whalley Range 11-18 High School, Wilbraham Road, Whalley Range, Manchester, M16 8GW

There will also be food, refreshments and activities for children.
