Stimulating Demand for Apprenticeships: Breakfast Briefings

27 Feb 2015 - 09:23 by michelle.foster

GMCVO are hosting a series of breakfast briefings to promote the benefits of employing apprentices, gauge more accurately the needs of organisations in terms of employing apprentices, how you might go about recruiting an apprentice if you are interested and share some success stories from organisations that have successfully recruited apprentices.

At the briefings GMCVO will have breakfast ready for you on arrival, followed by a couple of speakers sharing their thoughts and advice around apprenticeships, and finally a chance to network with apprenticeship providers and like-minded voluntary sector organisations and training providers and be back in your office before the morning has ended.

Come along to the meeting if you or your organisation are interested in:
• improving your understanding of apprenticeships
• finding out why employing an apprentice might be good for your organisation
• how you might go about recruiting someone to become an apprentice
• speaking to people that can help you get started along the path
• linking up with voluntary sector organisations if you are an apprenticeships training provider

The Manchester Breakfast Briefing is taking place on Wednesday 29 April at St Thomas Centre, 9am-11am.
