Transport for Sick Children (TFSC) requires a volunteer Treasurer to join their Board.
TFSC overall aim is to improve the health of disadvantage children in the Greater Manchester area.
The role would require attending 11 meetings annually (10 x evenings) at their Stockport office including the AGM and occasional volunteer social events.
The Treasurer reports to the Board of Directors and Trustees.
Your personal commitment and financial experience will ensure that the charity continues to operate successfully.
The Treasurer role includes:
• preparing accounts and monthly reports, overseeing budgets, and ensuring that the charity complies with all legal and statutory responsibilities
• ensuring that future finances meet the charity’s need
• advising on financial implications of TFSC strategic plans and investment policies
• contributing to fundraising strategy
