Manchester City Council is working with Greater Manchester Energy Advice Line to launch the Little Bill campaign to slash the cost of energy bills and encourage households to apply for up to £7,000 worth of home improvement measures including new central heating systems, solar panels and insulation.
Residents in Manchester’s Little Bill Communities areas: Northenden, Whalley Range, Levenshulme and Higher Blackley are invited to express an interest in opening up their houses as show homes, demonstrating innovative energy-saving improvements and sharing their experiences with their communities. In return, selected households will be offered up to £12,000 towards the costs of these improvements.
