Volunteering: Enhanced (Surge) Testing and Tracing of Covid-19 in Manchester

surge testing

Cases of a new Covid-19 mutation (E484K) have been identified in Manchester.

A huge community engagement exercise is now underway to encourage residents in affected areas to get tested (symptoms or no). We are supporting Manchester City Council (MCC) with its recruitment to support rapid and surge test and trace activities at community-based sites in parts of Manchester. Be part of the response, and help to limit the spread of Covid-19...

Door Knocking and Canvassing Volunteers with Manchester City Council are URGENTLY NEEDED.

In teams, volunteers will be visiting residential addresses and knocking on doors to canvass and dispense information about local Test and Trace sites that have been set up specifically in response to this situation.

This will be a sustained activity over a number of days, between Friday 12 February 2021 and Sunday 21 February 2021.
