What do you think makes up the Spirit of Manchester?

Tell the story of how your community and the work being done their adds to the Spirit of Manchester. We want to train people from all over Manchester to become accredited Community Reporters and tell the great stories happening across the city.

You will receive training to give you the skills and resources to make your own films now and in the future and you also become part of the Europe wide network of Community Reporters: https://communityreporter.net

The films made will be shown in a city wide roadshow with five events across the city in a Spirit of Manchester roadshow.

Would you like to be involved?
You need to be connected to a community group/organisation in Manchester to be part of the roadshow. If you are not already connected to a group we can find one for you to work with to tell their story of the spirit of Manchester. We want a variety of stories showing the breadth of charitable/voluntary work being done across the city so if we have already accepted a group doing the same type of work as your group I'm afraid we won't be able to include you in the roadshow.

You would need to be available to attend two days of training on either Tuesday 22 November and 13 December or Wednesday 23 November and 14 December

If you are interested in being involved or would like more information contact Hannah or Sefton at Macc on 0161 834 9823, or email: [email protected] / [email protected]

The deadline for registering your interest is: 7 November 2016
