Who is Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People (GMCDP)?

gmcdpThe following few months are going to see Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People (GMCDP) entering a new development stage and they would like to extend the opportunity for members to become involved also. Project worker Gemma would like to run a series of workshops that will offer a unique opportunity to shape the way GMCDP continues it practices.

These sessions will be held online via zoom and can be booked through the links provided:

GMCDP have been around since 1985 and have a prominent representation amongst many Manchester services and organisations. Staff are excellent at portraying this message but would you, as a member, feel you could accurately do this? Come and join GMCDP to learn the ins and outs, why they have certain views and standpoints that may be different to anything you’ve heard before. GMCDP would hope you leave with a deeper understanding of their organisation and also feel closer to your local politically active disabled community.
