Are you creatively crafty or have great cooking skills? Your business could follow in the footsteps of huge retailers like Marks & Spencer, Tesco and Matalan who all started life on a market stall. One Manchester

One Manchester are working with partner, Prosper Associates, to offer free training so you can become a new market stall trader or trade online. There is also a fantastic opportunity to access a small start-up grant too, if you complete the whole programme and are eligible.

This training workshops are for new retail businesses, or existing traders with no more than 30 months in business.

Discuss your ideas and find out more about the training on one of three open days:
5 September, 10am - 1pm - The Place, Fallowfield
6 September, 10am - 1pm - The Roundhouse (Manchester Settlement), Openshaw
7 September, 10am - 1pm - Aquarius Centre, Hulme

What you will get:
• Awareness of the skills needed as a market trader or online retailer
• Practical ideas and action points
• Guidance of the rules and regulations to help support your business
• All equipment and materials will be provided

The training workshops will begin on Monday 17 September at The Place at Platt Lane, in Fallowfield. The workshops will take place every two weeks, running up until February in 2019.
