Hosted as part of the VCSE Contract Readiness Programme, this meet the buyer event aims to create new relationships between the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and VCSEs (voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations).
It’s a great chance for VCSEs to find out more about working with a central government department. You’ll hear about DCMS’s most common spend categories, its strategic approach to procurement and what it looks for when inviting tenders as well as how it uses frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems. You’ll also hear about a recent example where the department has procured from a VCSE supplier.
